Signs God is answering your prayers are all around you but we don’t see the because of our busy lives. Daily communion with God can bring so much joy, peace, and comfort.
Prayer is the opening of our hearts to God and He longs to commune with us as He seeks to answer our prayers by rewarding us with what is best for our lives.
When you approach God in faith and confidence and accept your constant need for Him, He will provide answers to your prayers.
Here are some points that will guide you to know the signs God is answering your prayers.
1. By giving you calm assurance/peace.
Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7 KJV
God is faithful and remains true to all His promises. When you make prayer a priority and seek God in earnest and trust Him, He gives answers to your prayers by providing peace and assurance even in perplexing situations.
God knows your needs but He also values your dependence upon Him. The peace that God gives in answer to your prayers will calm your soul and will give you inward satisfaction.
2. God is answering when you feel safe and protected
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 KJV
God is the good shepherd who continues to watch over His flock. He seeks to nurture and preserve His sheep and protect them from harm and danger.
The enemy will seek to harm you, but your constant prayers to God serve as protection against the evil plots of Satan. Remain in communion with God as He gives peace and contentment. He will safely lead you through green pastures under His gentle and caring arms of care and protection.
3. God is answering your prayers through the encouragement of Godly people.
Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. 1 Samuel 1:17.18 KJV
God is also answering your prayers by inspiring other believers to communicate with you. The encouraging words of a friend or a fellow believer are like music to the ears, soothing a confused mind, resulting in increased confidence in God.
There are also times when God uses other persons to reward you with what you prayed through tangible benefits. Never underestimate God’s power in transforming your life through the inspiration of others.
4. God is answering when you start to experience healing and restoration.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles7:14,15 KJV
There is nothing that you experience that escapes the knowledge of God and it is imperative that you seek God in prayer for your healing and restoration. The prayer of faith can unlock heaven’s storehouse and bring you the healing that you need from all your physical and emotional maladies.
God is a healer and your petition in prayer will result in healing. This evidence is an indication that your prayers are being answered by God who seeks to heal and restore.
5. God is answering when you start to experience more faith and confidence in Him.
And Jesus *answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.
Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Mark 11:22-24 KJV
It is not easy to trust in an unseen God and for this reason, maintaining faith on this journey can be daunting at times. The spiritual walk demands faith and without it, it is impossible to trust God and His promises.
God understands your struggles and He is willing and able to guide you on the right path so that your confidence in Him can be strengthened. As you seek to build a stronger relationship with God each day, you will experience more faith and confidence in answer to your prayers.
6. The miraculous work of God in your life is an indication of God answering your prayer.
Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. Luke 9:16-17
Jesus, through the inspiration of God the Father, performed many miracles while He dwelt on the earth. Today, you serve the same God who still works miracles.
Significant evidence of God answering your prayers is His ability to perform miracles in your life. This sometimes goes beyond human comprehension but by placing complete faith and trust in God, your prayers can also be answered through miracles.
7. God is answering your prayer when you start to experience freedom from guilt.
I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”, And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. Psalms 32:5 KJV
We serve a forgiving God who is able to blot out our sins and grant us a clean heart. A firm relationship with Christ must start with a true confession.
Approach God with a contrite heart and ask Him to remove your sins and guilt and He will answer by granting you freedom from guilt and all other insecurities.As you exercise your faith in Him and each day, you will come to realize how this loving burden-bearer can restore your peace.
8. God is answering when you begin to receive divine revelation.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Micah 6:8 KJV
Your greatest desire as a true believer should include serving and obeying God wholeheartedly so that He can reveal His plans for your life.
Continue to trust God on this journey of faith, seek Him earnestly, and as you grow in the knowledge of truth and grace, He will reveal all His plans and purpose for your life.

9. God answers through our Praise.
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 KJV
As you continue to pray unceasingly and rejoice in God’s goodness, you will experience His divine workings in your life in providing answers to your prayers. Earnest prayer and praise bring forth marvelous blessings from God.
10. God is answering when you are rewarded with what you prayed for.
Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20 KJV
Sometimes in our petition before God, we do not receive exactly what we prayed for but rather God chooses to enlarge our territories and bless us in superabundance.
This goes beyond far more than we could ever ask or imagine. Your God is faithful and kind. When you pray and realize that God goes beyond “all things”, you will come to realize that His love for you has no boundaries.
11. As A Result of others been blessed through your experience.
And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16 KJV
Your testimony is a seed for someone else’s miracle and oftentimes the answer to your prayers may seem like it’s taking a long time but we serve an on-time God who knows everything.
He knows how and when to reward us with good gifts. Sometimes God chooses to wait on the opportune time in an effort to bless others, in enhancing His Kingdom.
Remain patient and trust in God’s divine plan in saving others.
12. God is answering your prayers when you choose to remain in expectancy.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalms 23:6 KJV
When you pray and remain in expectancy, it is a sign that God is building your faith so that you can develop more trust and confidence in His promises.
Prayer is not just a conversation that takes place and then you forget about it. Choosing to wait in expectancy for what you prayed for is a sign of an answer to your prayer as God seeks to improve your prayer life.
13. When you strive to live a life in obedience to God.
Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. Deuteronomy 5:33 KJV
Our spiritual growth is dependent on our relationship with God. Each day, I encourage you to spend time with God in prayer so that He can reveal the many channels in which He chooses to answer your prayers.
Choose to remain in His life-giving atmosphere as you seek to live in total obedience to Him. By doing this, you will develop a clearer understanding of Him and experience the all-sustaining power of His love.
