Prayers to keep Faith: 15 Helpful

Prayers to keep Faith will help you to defeat unbelief, and strengthen your faith and trust in God.

Faith is the assurance that the things revealed and promised in the word of God is true, even though unseen, and gives the believer a conviction that what he expects in faith will come to pass.

Jesus, King of Kings, You say that the righteous will live by faith. Mold me in Your image and fill my heart with faith in You.

Guide my actions so that I can live by faith and abundantly and eternally have life in You. Cleanse my thoughts of impurities, dear God, and keep my eyes fixed on You alone.

Your word in Hebrews 11:1 makes us understand that faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Sadly, there are times when my faith wanes as life’s struggles and challenges make me fail in my faith in You, and my belief in what is unseen dims.

Merciful God, give me the grace to completely trust in You, and the encouragement to stand firm in the faith. Just as the father of the demon-possessed son in Mark 9 shouted, “I believe! Help me Lord to depend on You to do what I think I cannot do. Let your strength alone sustain me. It is because of the faith You created in me that I have been saved and set apart to do your work. Through your grace, may I always be encouraged to stand firm in my faith in you, Amen.

Your word in Luke 17:5 says, “The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!’”. Father, even Your apostles that walked with You needed their faith to be strengthened.

Mighty God, just as Your apostles prayed, I pray that You increase my faith and make me a mover of mountains. Strengthen my faith in You so that I will be ready to battle against the doubts put in my way by the enemy the devil, and that I will always be strong in my belief in God at all times.

Jesus, my Savior, came down to earth to save me and told me to have faith in You. You said that with faith I can say to the mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and it will be done.

Faithful God, I put my trust in You because I know that nothing is impossible with You. Just as You told Sarah about the coming birth of Isaac, I know You always will make a way when there is no way.

Father, I praise You because You look out for Your people. You are the same God today as You were yesterday and forever. I believe in the power of Your might.

Lord, I pray that You help me grow in faith. The faith of Sarah is a clear example that You never forsake those who seek and have faith in You.

You have never let me down. I know that You never will let me down because my life so far has been a testimony of Your greatness. Lord, You know what the hearts of Your people need, and I know by Your grace, You will help me to increase and grow in faith, Amen.

Conclusion

God is not a man that can change their opinions, break their promises, alter their plans, or lie to suit their purposes. God is perfect in all His thoughts and trustworthy in all His ways. If God has said it…He will certainly do it.

It is written in Numbers 23:19 (NIV): God is not human that he should lie, not a human being that he should change His words. Does He speak and then not act? does he promise and not fulfill?

Brethren, God is unchangeable and unchanging, let us put our faith in Him.
