What does the Bible Teach about Breaking Curses?

The Bible teaches that in Jesus, every curse can be broken! But there is no unique formula for breaking a curse in the Bible.

When Adam and Eve sinned, the world was cursed (Genesis 3: 17-19). We all suffer from the curse of both our sin and sin in the world at large. Some of the consequences of this curse are:

Separation from God

Suffering

Death

At the foundation of curses is Disobedience.

It is the first biblical account of the possibility of a curse occurring when the Lord says a clear word and links death with disobedience. With the breaking of God’s principle, the curse came and was transmitted to all men and the Earth.

Jesus came into the world to deliver us from the curse of sin (Galatians 3: 13-14). On the cross, Jesus took every curse and, with his resurrection, he broke the curse!

Now, everyone who believes in Jesus as their savior is free from the curse, becoming attached to God. We are still going to die, but one day we will be resurrected and have eternal life.

Psalms for Breaking Curses.

God never gave up on families. Since Adam and Eve fell into temptation, the Lord has been insistently trying to restore family relationships.

If the first family, living in a context of harmony, fell into error, what about families nowadays?

Malachi’s text shows us that God’s desire is to spare the Earth from a curse.

However, the Lord wants children’s hearts to be converted to parents and the hearts of parents to be converted to children.

Only if we have this attitude God can undo any curse that, perhaps, is undermining the joy and harmony of our families.

2. Psalm 128:1-4

Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you.

To break such a curse, there is no magic formula or special ritual.

Just reject all evil influence, ask God for forgiveness for your sins, and dedicate your life to Him.

Only Jesus can break the curse of sin, so you need to give your life (and specifically the area devoted to sin) to him.

Psalms for Breaking the Curse of Premature Death.

Premature death is an operation arising from curses, events caused by the attacks of the evil one.

Every significant occurrence of premature death in the Bible is linked to curses, satanic influences, and evil attacks.

The first death accomplished in the Bible was spiritual – Adam and Eve and this dated back to satanic influence (Gen 3: 1-13).

The second case of premature death in the Bible concerns Abel, killed by his brother Cain, following an attack and an act of wickedness (Gen 4: 8).

In 1 Sam 2: 30-33, we see an untimely death pronounced on Eli and his house through a curse because Eli had not made right his children who dishonored God.

Psalms for Breaking Curse of Poverty.

When God created Adam, he placed him in the garden of Eden surrounded by abundance and wealth.

Thus began the curse of poverty on man: when man hid from God, he wanted to follow his ways, when he turned away from the Glory of God.

Adam lost all abundance, wealth, and lost something more important: communion with God.

Then, when Adam listened to Satan, the Glory of God was gone, and he realized that he was naked, had a body of sin, and because of sin came poverty, lack, curse, sickness, infirmity, shame, and humiliation.

Original sin affected all of humanity.

How do we break this string of poverty? When we hear the Truth, when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord, we have the right to reign in life.

Through Jesus, we have restored Glory and the right to abundance. Read and pray over these psalms to break every curse of poverty holding your life.

This has been very terrible for the Israelites, but for us, Christ freed us from the curse of the law, then, we are free from ALL DISEASES AND PLAGUES existing and to be.

There is now a provision of healing for us, and we have the right and open access to this blessing.

How long, Lord, how long? Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.

In conclusion

Indeed, for a curse to affect you, it must be justified.

Either you have broken a spiritual law or are ignoring your rights as sons of God and your spiritual authority in Christ.

It is only under these conditions that the devil, demons, and wizards can have power over your life and that of your children.

Read, study, and meditate on these psalms for breaking curses every day. You should never be impressed by anyone who will want to intimidate you.

Be rooted in your faith and rely on the word of God, his promises, and all that Jesus Christ has accomplished on the Cross for you.
