It’s almost impossible to call a house a home without a woman in it. Women are significant members of society as they help build and nurture the people who make up society.

Life, for a woman, can be very challenging. Although many women are known to care and accommodate, many battle different challenges that they hardly ever open up about.

Praying for women is necessary as it strengthens them to handle the many responsibilities that await them in the family and society.

  1. Prayer for Pregnant Women

Philippians 1:6 – Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (NIV)

Dear God, thank you for the gift of women who are our mothers, sisters, daughters, companions, and helpmates. Thank you for all that you’re using them to accomplish in our lives daily. Today, I pray for those who are pregnant.

Lord, I ask for your divine protection as they go through this phase with the seed that you have planted in them. When they feel overwhelmed, Father, please remind them that you are with them.

Strengthen them and fill them with the wisdom to make the right choices for them and the forming child. Please keep them safe and healthy until the point of delivery.

Father Lord, I pray for women who have been scorned. I ask that you take away all hatred, anger, and bitterness from their hearts. Replace their anger with your love and fill them with your peace.

Help them to put the hurt of the past behind them and start a new life in Christ; heal them where they need healing, and bless them with peace of mind and happiness.

When it seems like there is no way out, shine your light on their path. Provide for them where they cannot provide for themselves. I know that you are with us even in times of hardship.

Therefore, I pray that you please help them to trust in you. Teach them to be patient as you turn things around for their good.
