They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for him.”

Merciful God, thank you for your unconditional love that has preserved me till this moment. I ask that you renew my heart to continue to love and depend on you.

Dear Lord, please help me so that my words, actions, and the meditations of my heart will be pleasing to you today. May my heart yearn for you, and my Spirit cling to you more today.

Sunday, October 2nd.

Psalm 85:8–9 (NIV) – I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants – but let them not turn to folly.

Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.

Sovereign God, you are comfort, light, and life to me in everything I have to endure today. Please strengthen and help me pull through today.

Calm all my anxieties and fill my heart with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lastly, increase my faith so my heart can vehemently trust at all times.

Monday, October 3rd.

 Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Glorious God, thank you because I can trust you completely, never having to fret or worry when troubling times come my way. I am grateful to you, Lord, that I can rely on your strength and faithfulness.

May this privilege bestowed upon me by your love always be my refuge. Above all, help me continue to rely on you for strength today and to find refuge in you when troubles come my way.

Tuesday, October 4th.

Psalm 143:8 (NIV) – Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for I lift my soul to you.

 Heavenly Father, thank you for your word that gives my life meaning and your unconditional love that keeps me going every day. Please forgive me when I fail to love others the same way you love me.

Today, I ask that you open my eyes to see the needs of the others in my life and please assist me in meeting meet each of those needs in the way that pleases you.

Wednesday, October 5th.

 Psalm 30:5 (NIV) – For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning.

 Almighty God, your word promises that I’ll rejoice after a momentary lapse. So, I pray that you bestow your peace upon me when storms arise.

When I feel broken, Father, uplift my Spirit, so I can emerge whole again. Also, wherever I find myself, Lord, use me as your vessel to bring glory to your name.

Thursday, October 6th.

Proverbs 8:17 (NIV) – I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

 Loving God, thank you for the gift of life and a beautiful day. Today, I request that you draw me closer to you.

Wrap me in your loving arms and keep me safe. As I step out today, may I bask in the euphoria of your pure love.

Abba Father, let every part of me sing praises of your loving kindness; and may I never lose this great privilege.

Friday, October 7th.

 Psalm 91:11 (NIV) – For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

 Gracious God, your word has opened my eyes to your sincere and pure love. I shall not fret not because I know you are by my side.

Lord, I am especially grateful to you for your great compassion, even though I don’t deserve it. Lastly, I pray that you please deal kindly with me and protect me from all evil.

Saturday, October 8th.

 Galatians 5:1 (NIV) –  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

 Faithful God, I give you sincere thanks for the perfect rest of the past night and for the blessing of a new day with its opportunity to serve you.

Grant that I may pass its hours in loving service to you, and in the evening, may I have even more reasons to give you thanks.

 Psalm 25:2 (NIV) – I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

Gracious God, thank you for the gift of a new day. I am grateful that your compassion is renewed daily.

I don’t know how today will turn out and how well things will go, but you do. So I give this day to you; please make it a blessed day for me.

Monday, October 10th.

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) – Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

Powerful God, your word admonishes us to commit our actions to you, and you’ll establish our plans. Therefore, I dedicate my day to your reliable hands and ask that you perfect it!

Please bless me with the wisdom to accomplish all I set my mind to. Above all, may I work according to your will and plans for me today.

Tuesday, October 11th.

1 Chronicle 16:11 (NIV) – Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

Reliable God, thank you for the strength you promise to give us. As I head out today, I ask that you energize and strengthen me because today’s challenges may make my bones weak and my muscles feeble.

Also, I pray that you awaken me to the glory of your salvation and hasten my Spirit to the reality of your wonderful work in my life.

Wednesday, October 12th.

Psalm 19:14 (NIV) – May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer.

Marvelous God, my mind is filled with creative and impressive ideas, but they’re jumbled. So, I ask that your Spirit hover over my mind as you hovered over the waters during creation and command order out of the chaos!

Please help me cease striving and turn to you for strength, for you alone can give me the blessings I need today to accomplish my dreams.

Thursday, October 13th.

 Isaiah 50:4 (NIV) – The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.

Omnipotent God, you are the creator of all things, the light of the world, and the ruler of the heavens. Thank you for giving me the privilege of seeing the light of a new day!

Abba Father, may the light of your countenance shine in my heart and guide me to walk as a child of light during the day and, finally, rest in your loving embrace at the end of the day.

Friday, October 14th.

Psalm 130:6 (NIV) – I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

Merciful God, you know everything that awaits me today. So, I ask that you help me go through them. Lift me when I grow weak, and encourage me when I grow weary.

When I stumble into challenges, rescue me, Father. And finally, lead me away from them.

Matthew 6:33 (NIV) – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Dear God, in you, there is no shadow of turning. May the glory of your presence illuminate my path and dispel every darkness around me.

Above all, may l continue to put my trust in you, that under your protection and guidance, I may be kept from falling this day.

Monday, October 17th.

 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) – For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline.

 Dear God, I tend to shake in adversity, forgetting that you are there for me.

When challenges come my way, constantly remind me that you have given us the Spirit of power, love, and self-discipline.

In the midst of challenges, may I always stand firm.

Tuesday, October 18th.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV) – Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them,

for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Heavenly Father, may nothing separate me from your love today. Teach me to look to you today so every step I take will lead me closer to you.

Help me walk in accordance with your precepts; keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me from unholy thoughts, words, or actions.

And keep me from being distracted by my selfish desires and thoughts.

Wednesday, October 19th.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 (NIV) – Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Loving God, I am sorry for the times I failed to acknowledge your goodness in my life. Please forgive me for being discontented, ungrateful, and disdainful of the things you have blessed me with.

Teach me to appreciate the little I have and be grateful for my current circumstance. Finally, may I learn to appreciate your will, which is greater than my desires.

 Mark 11:24 (NIV) – Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

 Righteous God, your word challenges us to ask for anything in prayer, and we shall receive. I am most grateful to you, Lord, for this great privilege.

Father, I pray you go before me today and bless the work of my hands. I also ask that the earth and everything in it will favor me. Lastly, keep me under your impenetrable protection.

Friday, October 21st.

Psalm 90:14 (NIV) – Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Loving God, thank you for your marvelous love and care. Thank you also for your great sacrifice that gave me freedom from sin and abundant life.

Please forgive me when I don’t thank you enough for all that you do for me daily, for who you are, and for all your blessings. From now on, help me set my eyes and heart on you. Most importantly, assist me in living a life that is pleasing to you.

Saturday, October 22nd.

Joshua 1:9 (NIV) – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.

Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Mighty God, through you, I have victory over every trial in my life. I am confident that nothing in this world can separate me from your unwavering love.

Abba Father, please give me a measure of your grace today; give me the strength to endure and triumph over every trial to the glory of your name.

Matthew 6:34 (NIV) – Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Everlasting God, I tend to worry too much even when I know I have you. Help me surrender everything to you, Lord, and assist me in trusting in your plans for me.

Give me the grace to face each day with the hope that you are in control. Above all, give me the grace to overcome the challenges I face daily and the fortitude to move on amid trials.

Romans 15:13 (NIV) – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord Jesus, I’m grateful that I’m alive and well. And with each passing day, your word fills me with the hope of a better life.

May my love and trust for you continue to soar, and may you comfort and grant me peace in challenging times. Also, let the joy you gift fill my heart and be the song on my lips as I bask in this glorious day.

Tuesday, October 25th.

Exodus 14:13 (NIV) – “Do not be afraid. Stand firm, and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.

Ever living God, your word encourages me not to be afraid, to stand firm and experience your deliverance. I’ll stand according to your word as I head out today, dear Lord.

I’ll remain confident of your ability to see me through every challenge. Fill my mouth today with amazing testimonies of your goodness so that others may be encouraged.

Wednesday, October 26th.

 Matthew 11:28 (NIV) – Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

 Compassionate God, thank you for the air I breathe freely and for everything I have. I take this moment to reflect on your faithfulness toward me.

Give me the wisdom to recognize your love and compassion for me so I may forever remain grateful.

Thursday, October 27th.

2 Timothy 4:17 (NIV) – But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength.

Faithful God, I bow before you today, asking that you strengthen me in the power of your might. I need it, Lord, to accomplish the tasks that await me today – big or small.

Lord, it is by your grace that I live, and I know that same grace will see me through today. I declare that I’ll not become lazy or fail to accomplish my goals because you strengthen me.

Friday, October 28th.

Ephesians 6:10 (NIV) – Finally, be strong in the Lord and his mighty power.

 Father in Heaven, I don’t know what or who will cross my path today. But I know that you are my Rock and my Fortress.

You are my armor and my strong tower. Assist me in holding on to you always. And lastly, teach me to stand strong in you and walk only the path of righteousness today.

Saturday, October 29th.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Faithful God, today is a new day, an opportunity for a fresh start. Yesterday is gone, and with it, any mistakes, regrets, or failures I may have experienced.

It’s a good day to be thankful and glad, and I am, Lord. Thank you for this day, another chance to love, give, help, and be all that you created me to do.

Psalm 31:24 (NIV) – Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Sovereign God, please grant me tenacious winsome courage today. When I feel like giving up, help me to keep going.

Father, grant me a hopeful spirit when things don’t go my way. And give me the strength to do whatever needs to be done.

Sunday, October 31st.

1 Chronicle 16:11 (NIV) – Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

 Holy Father, I request your help to live a life that’s both pleasing and acceptable to you.

Fill my life with peace of mind and make me content at all times. Show me the beautiful things I often overlook and help me appreciate what you have blessed me with.

Forgive me for the times I compare myself to others and be merciful to me for longing for the things outside you and your kingdom.

Lastly, help me to set my eyes on you today and not on the things of this world.
